Our half-day introductory level mental health training course aims to build a basic understanding of mental health. It is designed to enhance your skills, knowledge and confidence in mental health awareness through discussions and bespoke case studies. Delivered online or face to face.

Why train with us?
Founder and facilitator: Melanie Newnam
Mel has an impressive learning and development background within the Corporate and not for profit sector. She started her career in the emergency services and has lived experience supporting colleagues and family with mental illness.
Mel is part of the Scottish and English Mental Health First Aid instructor training team and a SHOUT crisis volunteer at weekends. Alongside the mental health training, Mel is a wellbeing coach and mentor for the ladies Scottish Hockey team.
